J.Crew has the best basics, from tank tops, tees, and jeans. This is the one white tee that I find doesn't stretch out after a few washes in the laundry and has a long enough length so that I'm not showing too much skin when wearing my mid-rise boyfriend jeans from J.Crew as well.

I will never stop looking for the perfect white T-shirt! I go through phases of preference in fit and fabric, but my Buck Mason ones are constantly in rotation. The Pima cotton has a soft hand feel that doesn’t wash out (but dare I say, gets better over time?) and the crew neck sits just right on the collar—I love how it looks peeking out from under a simple grey sweater. The brand has great womenswear options but I’m partial to the men's fits—they’re a little bit roomier and relaxed.
