BILLINGS, Mont. – The Dress for Success boutique is offering a unique opportunity for women in need of professional clothing.

Megan Hamavard, Executive Director for Dress for Success, emphasized the importance of providing resources to women who have faced challenges.

"Our main goal is to help them go into the workforce as confident as possible and also take the burden off the financials there, sometimes your first check is really paying for bills and you don't have that extra income to get clothing and so this is to help that relieve a little bit," Hamavard said.

The boutique operates with the help of referrals from various partnerships, businesses, family members, and friends. Women can schedule an hour-long appointment for one on one attention from a personal shopper, allowing them to choose affordable professional clothes. The visits are private and ensure a safe environment for the guests.

Volunteer Kathy Scally highlighted the joy that women experience when they see the donated clothes. “And you can just see the expression on the women's faces when they come in here and they see all these beautiful clothes that the community has donated for them to be helped,” she said.

Tomorrow, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the boutique will host its annual inventory sale, open to all. All sale proceeds support products that cannot be donated, such as undergarments and make-up.

Those attending the sale can pay a $25 entrance fee for a bag they can fill with as many items as it will hold. "It helps especially when you know you can't afford a new top that's $35-40 dollars, you can at least come and get close to almost a wardrobe full of clothing for 25," Hamavard expressed.

This event not only supports women by providing stylish and affordable clothing options but also builds their confidence and shows them they are not alone in their journey toward success.
